1. What We Collect — and Why

We only collect what is necessary to create and deliver your résumé:

Demographic information (race, age, gender)
Browsing history or cookies for tracking
Device fingerprints or persistent identifiers
Marketing or advertising identifiers

Your data is never used for personalization, targeting, profiling, or advertising.

2. What We Delete — Automatically

We built Intelligent Resume™ around strict, automatic data deletion. Here's exactly what gets deleted and when:

Session data and generated resume artifacts are automatically deleted within 90 minutes of session completion or expiration. This window accounts for processing, delivery, and scheduled cleanup operations. Data is not retained beyond this period unless legally required.

Failed session data — Retained only for refund processing
Error logs — Technical diagnostics for support

A session is "failed" if payment processed but résumé wasn't delivered due to system error. We retain this data briefly only to process refunds and fix technical issues.

📊 Retained (Legal Requirements)

Payment transaction records — Amount, timestamp, transaction ID (no credit card numbers)
Email address used for payment — Required by Stripe and for accounting

We're legally required to retain financial transaction records for tax and accounting purposes. We do NOT store your credit card number — Stripe handles all card data.

We keep nothing longer than necessary to deliver your résumé to your inbox.

3. What We Never Do

These are hard rules — not marketing lines:

❌ We do not train AI models on your data

Your voice, transcript, and résumé content are never used to train AI models — not by us, not by ElevenLabs, not by OpenAI.

❌ We do not store audio recordings

Voice audio is processed in real time and immediately discarded. We never save audio files to disk or cloud storage.

❌ We do not store transcripts long-term

Transcripts are automatically deleted within 90 minutes of session completion or expiration. No exceptions.

❌ We do not build user profiles

No tracking, no profiling, no "personalization" across sessions. Each résumé session is completely independent.

❌ We do not share or sell data

Your information stays with us and our service providers (ElevenLabs, OpenAI, Stripe). We never sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for their purposes.

❌ We do not use your data for ads or marketing

No retargeting, no ad personalization, no marketing lists. We don't even collect the data needed for these activities.

❌ We do not track you across the web

No cross-site tracking, no pixel tags, no behavioral advertising. What you do on other websites is none of our business.

❌ We do not store credit card numbers

Stripe handles all payment card data. We never see, access, or store your credit card number, CVV, or expiration date.

Your résumé is yours, not training data.

4. How We Use AI Providers (OpenAI & ElevenLabs)

Intelligent Resume™ uses AI strictly as a tool — not as a data consumer.

What they do: Process your voice conversation in real time

Our Configuration:

Your voice is processed in real time during the interview
Audio is converted to text as you speak
Nothing is saved by ElevenLabs
When the interview ends, ElevenLabs sends us the transcript
We store that transcript temporarily (up to 90 minutes) to generate your résumé

What they do: Format your transcript into a professional résumé structure

What we send to OpenAI:

Your professional information: Work history, skills, education, achievements
Your target industry: So the résumé can be formatted appropriately

What we DON'T send to OpenAI:

What they do: Securely process your $29 payment

What Stripe stores:

Your credit card information (encrypted, never visible to us)
Billing address
Email address used for payment
Transaction records

What we store about payments:

✓ Transaction ID (e.g., "pi_abc123...")
✓ Amount paid ($29.00 USD)
✓ Email used for payment
✓ Timestamp of payment
❌ NO credit card numbers
❌ NO CVV codes
❌ NO card expiration dates

✅ Our guarantee: We never see or store your credit card details. Stripe is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified — the highest security standard for payment processors.

📧 Email Delivery

What happens: We email your résumé PDF to you

Email delivery process:

We generate your résumé PDF on our servers
We send it to the email you provided via our email service provider
The email includes your résumé as an attachment
Within 90 minutes of sending, we delete the résumé and transcript from our servers

Note: Once emailed, the résumé is in your inbox — outside our control. You can keep it as long as you want. We delete our copy within 90 minutes of session completion.

5. How We Use Your Contact Information

Why we collect your name, email, phone, and LinkedIn:

✓ Primary Purpose: To Put on Your Résumé

We collect your contact information so it appears on your résumé. Employers who receive your résumé need a way to contact you directly — that's what this information is for.

We put this information on your résumé document, which you then control and share as you see fit.

✓ Secondary Purpose: To Email Your Résumé to You

We use your email address to send you the finished résumé PDF. That's the only way we contact you.

✗ What We DON'T Do With Your Contact Info

❌ We do NOT share it with employers or recruiters
❌ We do NOT sell it to third parties
❌ We do NOT add you to marketing lists
❌ We do NOT send you promotional emails
❌ We do NOT share it with anyone except our service providers (who need it to deliver your résumé)

To be crystal clear: When we say "so employers can reach you," we mean the contact information is on your résumé — the document you receive and share. We are NOT sharing your contact information with employers ourselves. You control who sees your résumé.

6. Security You Can Trust

Our infrastructure follows modern security standards:

Encrypted HTTPS for all communication
Stripe handles all payment data (we never see your card)
No persistent identifiers
U.S.-based infrastructure
Corporate jurisdiction: Collin County, Texas

We collect little — and keep even less.

You may at any time:

Request confirmation of deletion
Request immediate deletion (if anything remains)
Request refund for a failed or incomplete session
